Refracturing Selected Pieces & Interior Materials

RVFX-03-Play-Thumbnail-Refracture.svg

2:28 · 1080p 60fps · English · Subtitled

Select an existing fractured piece, add a Fracture Selected Pieces step, assign an interior material, and rebuild that step without refracturing the whole pillar. Inspect the results with Spread and preserve the step's seed. This is authoring-time refinement, not runtime Secondary Fracture.

After changing fracture geometry, review anchors and constraints, record the base simulation again, and export a new bake. Existing playback prefabs are not updated by rebuilding the fracture.
